Aristophanes' 'The Clouds' used fart jokes to criticize the 'enlightened' thinking of Socrates, and that was thousands of years ago. I think similarly including bodily humor jokes in music in order to criticize the perceived 'super seriousness' of many acts in a certain genre should be able to be used to achieve the same effect.
