So, after listening to this for a couple weeks, the appeal is slowly fading.

Still good, but the songwriting on half of the songs is pretty much structured the same and a little variation here and there wouldn't really kill the atmosphere.

Also, the vocals leave something left to be desired as neither vocalist is really showcased and it sounds more like a screaming fight than anything complementary. I don't know, maybe its just me, but the it makes the album a little harder to enjoy when I can understand half of a sentence before the other dude starts screaming something else.

I imagine if these dudes work on these tiny things (for my pleasure), they'll unleash a bigger monster next time around.

Not only that. They're also utilizing what is overlooked in metal music. Da bass man, and yes, one entire octave too. Even the pioneers themselves don't use it that way cause they're too heavily (excuse the pun) fixated on the guitar.

I've been learning this CD for a month now, trust me they use 7 strings, I had to sell my RGA8 and get a 7 just for this.

I didn't like it that much anyways. Everything I wanted to learn was on a 7 string and the extra thickness of the neck was just meh.
