This album is similar, but Plan B is totally different. Both bands are mathy post hardcore with noodle riffs but ALLB is more complex

Yeah DGD are one of the most fun bands I know, but imo the dichotomy between Mess's hilarious personality and the serious lyrics that Kurt could write is what made them truly special. Fuck Jonny.

Three songs in and goddamn, colour me impressed. Lyrics on this fucker are great, but I agree that they don't have as much personality as DGD so I don't like them better.

Not saying this is devoid of personality or anything, they evidently know how to write brilliantly weird lyrics that gives them an edge on other bands in the same genre. But DGD just bring the fun so hard, I just don't know man.
