The amount of fools here is insane. This is a good album. Its just come down to hating it is to be cool. Childish behaviour, open your ears. Why do you think reputable music mags are giving it positives reviews?
Yeah how dare we form our own opinions rather than blindly follow the opinion of a magazine that hasn't been relevant for over 10 years.

I'm not a big Metallica fan but I don't even want to blame them for this, since I hate Lou Reed so much after hearing his voice on this I'm just going to blame him for everything wrong with music.

i now have everyone i know quoting "i am the table!" even though it's tablet apparently. like its like driving on the wron side of the road and passing cars and yet thinking you're on the right side if that makes any sense.

This was never going to be anything other than a disaster. To think that Lou Reed wrote some of my favourite lyrics of all time.. and that Metallica were once bearable.

I never thought Metallica would make an album that as good as nobody liked. Oh well, guess they've done it now. This is a piece of shit album.

So I put on "Pumping Blood", and surprise surprise, I loved it. I thought it was a menacing piece of work, to say the least.
And what's wrong with the line "I waggle my ass like a dark prostitute" anyway? You guys give leave to James Labrie singing "We spiral towards disaster/Survival fading faster" even though its as trite as hell.

Dream Theater have been using lyrics like that since they started.

Are you seriously defending that line?
