Atari, every song not named waves, war paint, and work in progress on this album are boring af.

War Paint itself has awesome verses, but an awful chorus. Same goes with No One's Gonna Need You More but even more boring.

His vocals are more unnecessarily exaggerated which works in Work In Progress, but not so much elsewhere. The lyrics try to sound deep when they really aren't, they aren't that good either.

Reach For the Sun had a more cohesive sound, more restraint, better lyrics, and much much better choruses.

In My Room' is probably my favorite on here, honestly.

And I agree on the lyrics to a point. I think the lyrics on Reach for the Sun were better and more personal. Their musicianship has just improved so much more on here though. When you compare the two, this one has a much more mature sound. The same goes for the new song, they're maturing as they go on. I think that's why I connect to them so much, they're my band for my teenage years. They're maturing with me.

This album hits like a bulldozer when it hits... My only problem with this album is it's "pounding" for the whole running time. Kind of exhausting for its genre. I agree with one of the reviews that it's just so good the entire way through that that makes up for it. This is getting bumped soon.

Nice to finally hear that song professionally recorded, and not some shit live version someone caught on their phone. Sounds pretty good. Usually takes me a few listens to get into new TDS material though. Hopefully they didn't suffer too much at the loss of AJ.

Loss of AJ? Did he leave the band or something?

Love the studio version, it's great to be able to understand all the lyrics.

And Aj didn't leave the band? At least as far as I know.

"Work in Progress" sounds like it could've been on TDAGARIM. The singer sounds a lot like Jesse Lacey on it.

however, that is exactly the type of sound they're trying evoke with that song. which definitely works, despite the cheesy lyrics.
