I know it's just that you said it seems like a grower then immediately followed that up by stating the opposite
I tend to agree with the latter though. This seems like something that will lose its magic with time. Still a great album no matter what though, just not a 5...i stand by this being anywhere in the 4's

Lakes: I totally agree. I can see myself dropping this to a 4.5 after a while. But for now it's safely resting at a 5, simply because of its scope and it absolutely succeeded at what it hoped to achieve. The fact that I showed this to my friend (who's got great sense in music) and he couldn't tell what their normal style was like (colorwise) shows how truly versatile this band is and how well they pulled off each color.
