Hate English Curse, but the rest of the album is great.

It's less being offended and more being tired of the constant assault, especially when I've met him (admittedly for not very long) and he seemed like a nice guy.

Some of the songs on here are his absolute best (definitely not If I Ever Stray) but then some really isnt. Then again, that's what most of his albums have been like. A best of would be beastly.

I don't get the hate for poetry of the deed (though I actually started from that album so maybe that's the case) and I am confused for the appraisal this release gets.
Usually the songs had a great melody or great lyrics or both and if the melody didn't get me interested, the lyrics gave that emotional investment ("Father's Day" imo) it saddens me how melodically uninterested I am in this album. Maybe I need to read up on the lyrics.

what type of music is this, i'm clueless

Really? I find musically, this is far more interesting than Poetry and LI&S, on par with Week.
