Forgive me cause I’m not too familiar with this bands background. Cave In are pretty influential right?

Yea, Until Your Heart Stops is considered a classic metalcore album and was pretty ambitious at the time.

Nice I’ll have to give that a listen. This band has very few ratings for such a high stature.

Yea it’s kind of interesting how that happens. Influence doesn’t always go hand in hand with popularity, sometimes it’s just a seed being planted that has roots traveling deeper and deeper. Eventually the original band may be forgotten or overlooked in the wake of the new artists that they influenced, like Cave In, Rorschach, Deadguy or Starkweather

Melvins are one of them too. Only Houdini and Bullhead have lots of ratings. Other than that, not much lol

I wish they used a different style of vox for Iron Decibels but damned if they groove doesn’t get stuck in my head endlessly.

I know opinions are split on those softer tracks at the end, but I love them so much

New album leaked, it's pretty killer. Sounds like a mix of their Creative Eclipses, Jupiter, Tide and Antenna periods but with dashes of Mutoid Man's more direct approach. Loving it, I'm going to miss this band.

This is very late for a leak, since they are selling the vinlys for a month now.

And they have stated in their most recent interview, that this may not be their last album so let's not jump to conclusions yet

They completely left it in the air about continuing. I know they've been selling the vinyl for a while, but the fans who got it likely held off on ripping it earlier out of respect for the band.

Oh right, my memory fooled me there. Let's see what the future holds. I at least want to see them one time live before they call it quits
