"Lost In Hollywood" is probably the best song Daron Malakian has done lead vocals for. He'll never be able to top that song off though.

This album is ok. But I can't really get into SOAD that much.

The first time I listened through this album, I hated it. But it grew on me, and I now view it as the best work they've produced. With the exception of She's Like Heroin, there's no song here I don't like. In particular, Attack, Tentative, Holy Mountains, Vicinity of Obscenity, and Soldier Side stand out. Seriously, Soldier Side is a very powerful, emotional song, my favorite line is "Cruelty to the winner, Bishop tells the King his lies..."

This is a pretty good record I only like 2 or 3 songs but I still haven't heard the whole CD

I think they should do some songs like they did on the first 2

It's been said many times already, but brilliant review.

As for Hypnotize, I like it but not as much as Mezmerize. It's a really entertaining record all the way through, but with the exception of Soldier Side (Which is my favorite SoaD song ever), nothing really stands out.

Attack is really an enjoyable song, although it sounds a LOT like Sad Statue.
