|
| |

I MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH.
|
| |
110% gay. Just like this band/demo.
|
| |
Current drummer, drummer before him, or the drum machine? I know you mean the drum machine (and he really does doesn't he?) but I have to make sure.
|
| |
Yeah I do don't I?
|
| |
I have to say that's an odd thing to tell a 15 year old.
|
| |
This thread still going?
|
| |
Yes because I refuse to stop whoring it out. We're wrapping up writing our next EP so ya know I need to whore it out a
little extra.

I need to whore it out a
little extra.
I'll bet you do.
|

"We're wrapping up writing our next EP "
Ya know, gimme.
|
| |
I think at this point we just need some vocals parts and some rehearsals of just the new stuff and then we'll be ready to record in December.
|
| |
I thought you were 13 or something
I remember reading that on a list somewhere and everyone was like "whhhaaaa but you act so old"
|
| |
I was 14 when we put this out in March and when it got reviewed in April. I was 13 when I wrote it all and I think
recorded most of it.
|
| |
wow
cool
|
| |
Yeup.
|
| |
how did you write the music down, record it and mix it?
|
| |
I opened up garageband, made a track for guitar and a track for the drum machine so I could write while I demoed it basically and hoped I could remember all the parts by memory or figure them out by ear when we got a group together and actually started playing shows. In case you can't tell by the production on this I had no clue what I was doing with the mixing. I've gotten decent at it now (I'll post a demo here once we get some vocal takes on there) and can make it sound pretty good actually using the exact same software, plugins, mics, etc., we made this with.
|
| |
and overall cost?
|
| |
The one mic was like $100. Uh... I wanna say the software was probably about $900 (3 seperate things) total. I don't know exactly how much since I just used a few torrents.
