listened to it a few times last night. Was super disappointed honestly. Couldn't get into it, and there was one song where they just straight up ripped off the microphones, the part starting at 1:40 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDZC1Ik3We0) sounds eerily similar to the track empty glass at the 1:48 mark (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTxSIAq01qM), and it's even worse at 2:13 during the thursday video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTxSIAq01qM) to 2:30 in the microphones song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDZC1Ik3We0). they straight up jacked that song's concepts/melodies. not cool.

I don't know why but Geoff Rickley reminds of me of Billy Corgan at times on this record.

Well many people will probably say Full Collapse since it's their most acclaimed work, but you
can't really go wrong choosing another one of their albums. Even Common Existence is
reminiscent of this (though not as good imo), and War All the Time is really catchy, so you
might like that.

Thursday's 6th album 'No Devolucion' is more a natural progression, than a departure. On their 3rd successive LP produced by Dave Fridmann, the New Jersey sextet are as assured as ever in cohesively balancing their post-hardcore roots with a liking of atmospheric soundscapes. While Tucker Rule's drumming stands out, the textured instrumentation is superb throughout & Thursday have never been more impressive lyrically with a number of quotable lines. Not everything works, but that's hardly surprising considering the ambitious experimentation here. Recommended Tracks: Stay True, Turnpike Divides, Sparks Against the Sun & Magnets Caught in a Metal Heart.

Yeah that was one of my favorite parts about this album Davey. The lyrics for "Magnets Caught in a Metal Heart" are pretty clever. And as an engineering student it kinda makes me chuckle that Geoff knows a bit about electromagnetism.

I'm inching ever so closer and closer to giving this a five every time I listen to it. This really is just fucking amazing and among their very best work. Who would of thought they still had an album as incredible as this still in them?
