I'm happy that I have a taste that allows me to listen to more than Death growls. This album is just beautiful and anyone who falls asleep doesn't realize what great music he is listening to.

Don't think it'll be Damnation pt2, I think it'll have a much darker atmosphere, plus some double bass apparently so that's a plus.

While thinking about Heritage I remember song just like Porcelain Heart. Songs that are heavy but without any growls. I think it will be another heavy album - just without the death growls.

I'm thinking its going to be more streamlined then their past albums and be somewhere in between Watershed's non-Heir-Apparent moments and Dammation. I believe Mikael said in some interview I read (no link because fuck you) said the album isn't entirely foreign territory for the band and since he described it as being the album he's always wanted to make so I can't help but be excited.

Just found this thread

Dethtrasher rules, the first time I registered on this site I read a DT review, don't participate

that much so didn't realize he left

But reading some of the comments i can understand this part: "but more and more assholes joined the

site"

a lot of you disrespecting morons dont deserve to have been on the same site as him

sorry for bumping this up haha

@KILL- Yeah Deth is Swedish if I remember correctly

He was Swedish, myself and South_of_Heaven used to lend him a hand in proofreading. I actually refused to help proofread this particular one hahahaha but I helped him as best I could with a few others. He was a good guy and to all the newer metal users, take a few notes from his lengthy list thrash albums. Deth obviously new his old-school metal better than most of you.

Yup, doesn't matter how terrible this particular review is, Dethtrasher most certainly was a good guy and had great metal knowledge. I for one miss his clunky yet informative reviews about lesser known metal bands and his lists that contained albums most else would never include.

I disagree with a lot of points from the review, but the reviewer is right at least on one point: this is not 'progressive' rock for sure.

"Sorry but I have to agree, the vocals are indeed horrible on this one."

I don't find them bad, but just flat and gloomy.
