not sure if it's gonna be used for the new LP yet, but it's nice to have an outlet for my photography.

when is the full length happening

For the 3 people who are interested:
The full length is all written. It is 7 songs long and just a hair over 21 minutes long. The dude who stalked everything on my soundcloud account before I deleted most of everything has technically heard all of it in its early stages. We are recording with Conner Martin (same dude who did the splits) in April. All of March is going to be spent refining these songs so we can knock them out over a weekend. The music is a lot less technical from a guitar standpoint but is a beast drumwise. We really want these songs to rhythmically kick you in the ass. After listening to all our preproduction demos it's really apparent that we're big fans of Thursday, the second Sparta album and such. Lyrically, all the songs sort of follow a theme of letting go of things, be they love, life or earthly possessions.
Like the album, none of the tracks have any names set in concrete but the working tracklist that we have is:
1. Wave
2. Kaiosama
3. Memo
4. Sludge
5. Sink Yr Teeth
6. Millhouse
7. Pretty
Obviously these titles will be changed, except probably Wave and Sink Your Teeth because those names fit the songs pretty well. The whole thing is made up of short songs and two "big" sounding bookend tracks. We're really proud of these songs and think people will really like the finished product. We're sinking all our money into recording the LP and putting it out there early this summer. We're going to do some short touring in the latter half of the summer (since all of us have commitments to other projects), that will, if the current routing holds up, take us through the greater Pacific west coast area and a little bit into the desert south west.

Sounds interesting.

Don't leave 'your' as 'yr.' It ruins it imo. Seems like this is going to be good. Will be waiting for it, Redsky.

This is my first time contributing vocals and lyrics to the fold for more than just spot duty or a song here or there. As such, it's a pretty personal record. The lyrics are a reflection of the major events in my life over the last couple of years: the death of my grandfather, my mom getting cancer, ending a very tumultuous relationship, the hardening of my worldview, and learning from a lot of self destructive behavior. So the album is sort of my way of letting go of it all. Sorry if this comes off really pretentious.
