Where's the Led Zeppelin riff guys. Where's the Black Sabbath bass line or the Deep Purple Organ riff. Nowhere, because Wolfmother are an original band. I have listened to Zeppelin and Sabbath a ludicrous amount and Wolfmother have taken nothing from them.
Also, Ozzy can sing really, really well. And so can Dio, and Ian Gillan.

this album should have gotten up over a 4, i've had it on my mp3 player since june and just havn't gone to listen to them up until now, cause i was just randomly given it along with so much other music, easiest way to say it, I WAS BLOWN AWAY! its an amazing album, i would even go as far as to say they have that extra ingredient Led Zepp didn't have, they could be better than Zeppelin

Too bad that Zmev knows that what I say true, so instead of finding any real fault in my argument, he resorts to pointing out some trivial and unrealated detail such as a double post.
Not only is it bad enough for Wolfmother to spend ages writing and recording an amazing album for people to just download it, but to then criticise it for being like bands they had heard before. If you have to criticise this album, then do so by pointing out the bad parts of songs instead of comparing them to Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
I seem to find that the majority of people who say that Wolfmother are ripoffs haven't ever heard any Sabbath and have perhaps heard Stairway to Heaven once. This Message Edited On 10.19.06

But that is the bad part of the album, it does sound too much like old bands. It's okay to be influenced but when you just want to play like older bands, it becomes dire.
