I needed some time to connect with this. Then I listened to it some winter night and suddenly got totally lost in the sparkling wonder that is this album. Has gotten better and better ever since. Maybe my favorite album ever to be quite honest.

Quite possibly.
I feel like, one day, this might venture into 4.5 territory, possibly even more... I'd hazard a guess that it usually takes some time. Homogenic was an almost insta-5 for me & Post an insta-4.5.

Re-listening to this now, it's been a while. I don't like Cocoon that much, it squanders all the momentum built up by Hidden Place. Which is weird because one of the next tracks, Undo, goes for almost the same sound yet succeeds with flying colours. Love Frosti, so much Kajiura Yuki vibes, and Aurora is just mmmmm
was listening to this today with my cat who has never heard Bjork, and the quizzical side-stares were real
