This is the best album with Tucker. F has that goddam inconsistency on tracks (provoked by the "lets play as fast as fuck'' motto that the band tried to display), but its still good.
G was better, but sounds a tad redundant in some places. This? This marries the consistency of G, with the aggression and weirdness of F, but UGH the crappy production.
Btw Blessed = Covenant > Altars (of overratedness)

This still slays.-
I can't believe this has a 2.9 average, this album is beyond "criminally underrated".

Album Rating: 4.0 | Sound Off
It's no wonder Morbid Angel tossed themselves to the rocks after this album.
They delivered the most provoking album after Blessed Are The Sick and people turned their backs on it, simply because the sound production is "lo-fi".
Polished sound fits mainstream pop, not (extreme) metal.
Edit:
"Places of Many Deaths" still slays.-

Once again, Pleb. You've gone with the masses! Tucker era MA is absolutely unreal. As a guitarist, I thought you'd dig Tucker era more!

Just cos I favour some albums that others class as that said bands 'best work', doesn't mean I go with the masses.

Album Rating: 3.5
Guitar tone stops this from being a 4.0 for me, but the skill of the playing is too much to handle.
