The album title is obviously a reference to Aleister Crowley / Thelema. Has absolutely nothing to do with being "dark" or "satanic". Kind of an ignorant thing to say imo.
That's not to say they don't have a corny, gimmicky image though, so perhaps you were justified in assuming it was meant to sound "dark".
Good review aside from that, album is pretty bad.

The first time I commented, I said this was "beautiful"...but after getting SERIOUSLY into Dimmu, I realize this is definitely not their best. What I think now: there are definitely some songs that work (Chess With the Abyss, Gateways, Dimmu Borgir, Ritualist), but overall this incredibly lacks the evil flare from In Sorte Diaboli.

Abrahadabra actually comes from Abracadabra; Aleister Crowley changed a letter to use the phrase for himself in one of his works. And Abracadabra comes from Aramaic and means essentially "I create like the word". JK Rowling actually took that and changed it into Avada Kedavra to mean something like "I destroy with a word", which obviously fits the whole "killing curse" theme. *the more you know*
