I've searched the web for the story The album tells and I just can't find it. I have my own assumptions about the concept of it, but I would like to know the actual story that is being told. Anybody have any ideas? Atleast voice your opionion of what you think it is. I know y'all will help a brother out!

I read an interview with the vocalist, he just mentioned the album was about existence outside of the earth, hence "exoplanet" Lyrics confirm this since he's talking about "looking to the sky for solutions", colonizing on other planets, learning new languages and such.

i figured it had to do with other life forms. that's bad ass. they do a good job of the whole atmospherical outer space thing.

I know giving this a 5 might seem like a bit much, but I find that this album is a masterpiece in so many ways. From the well-crafted (and often overlooked) concept to this band's usage of extended chords, which are often neglected in metal. If this band was bigger this album would have been a game changer.

not going to disagree with you. it really is a fantastic deathcore album, something that is almost impossible to find nowadays.

What holds it back for you?
Just nothing stands out for me really. I mean it's definitely better than the average deathcore album and the progressive elements are nice, but it just doesn't stand out as being anything fantastic to me.

I actually wasn't too huge a fan of the bits I've heard. Will probably not listen to the rest of it, but I'm not big on deathcore anyway so don't mind me.
