Bumped it to a 4. If only the last third/fourth were released as an EP rather than placed onto the album. As it is, the album's quite a bit too long.

The reviewer is high. Suburbs was born for 5+. Perhaps a second listen...? Or one more synapse firing? This is a seriously well-wrought, laboriously-conceived piece of art. Your review does it a disservice. And the later/earlier piece invoking Springsteen?? Please. Grow up.

Back down to a 4. With the exception of the amazing Sprawl 2, these tracks have gone down to songs that are just pleasant when they come up on shuffle instead of awesomely exciting.
