Yeah it's short but that almost enhances the experience I think because it's a lot easier and more convenient to listen to, and not /too/ short to not leave a mark or anything. In fact it does a lot through the EP.

Yea every second and every noise and sample on here is essential to creating whatever story the album evokes in your head. Idk as amazing as F#A# is, sometimes, it's a bit too silent or subtle for it's own good, but it is stunning and dark as hell most of the time.

I prefer F#A# slightly more, but this is definitely a very close second.

first 3 godspeed releases (save for all lights fucked cause no one knows) are pretty much perfect

vinyl version has a few changes, it's obviously a bit shorter so some parts are cut out, the spoken part at the beginning has a little different placement, and there's a part at the end of the first half similar to the intro to Antennas To Heaven "Moya sings Baby-O"

Yeah, it has certain parts moved to different songs. Plus the absence of the last part of Dead Flag Blues is kind of weird, that banjo thing

Allelujah! is pretty awesome too, it's a shame it's always overshadowed by this and F#A#. I mean, of course it's not as flawless but it certainly has its moments.

Yeah man, the two epics are insanely good. Overall I'd say the record is noisier, and the only flaw is

that the two 6-minute drone tracks just last too long. We Drift Like Worried Fire is up there with

Storm and Sleep for me.

Sounds like I would love it, I love it when they do this ambient drone kind of thing in their music

Also, for some reason it was more of a grower for me than their other albums, but it was definitely worth listening to it a couple times to fully enjoy it. I'd say a very solid 4 overall

This little speech at the beginning of Sleep is awesome
