It's sort of a strange situation when you think about it... Boulet releasing a solo debut LP before the band (he'd been with for years) doing so. I wonder if there was any little bit of friction there. After the quality of this album, let's hope not.

Good to hear in a way... The great thing about this album is that each member brings something different to the party & yet they somehow combine it all near-perfectly.



Plus, the album took an eternity to come out, so I'm sure they gave Jonathan their blessing.

There's absolutely no friction whatsoever, I asked a couple days back. Everybody is really proud of each other for everything that has happened which is great and it's not as if the sounds are all that similar so there's not that much overlap. Plus I think they are very surprised for the acclaim still on both fronts

Great to hear ultradolphins... It can only make them stronger hopefully. You're correct, there isn't a great deal of overlap, although you can definitely hear Boulet's rhythms here.



I was reading an interview with Dan a few weeks back & he definitely sounded surprised with the acclaim. When asked about an international release for the album, it was as if he hadn't even thought of it yet!

Everytime i listen to this I like it more and more. Def a 5, Davey wink wink.
