The funny thing is that these same people that keep saying that it's "fucking horrible" will probably hold Vampire Weekend or some other boring shitty little-talent indie band up on some pedestal. How the sheep like to graze in the grass. Are there a few filler songs on this album that are skippable? Yes. But is it "horrible" ? Not by a long shot. Out of the hits and misses on this album, the hits more than make-up for the misses.
You people are either deaf are have really stupid biases. And I'm all for people liking what they want to like. But don't call something "fucking horrible" just because you don't get it or because you want to be a subculture sheep afraid to admit to liking a commercial artist. Arcade Fire debuted with a number one album that sold over 100,000 copies its first week. I wonder how many of you are gonna complain about that.
