Powercore!!! That's what this shit should be called. I saw Bodom live, and by watching them perform, they didn't sell out. They seemed pumped and excited to have a huge american crowd moshing to their music, isn't that what any band would want? This Message Edited On 09.18.06

There is no core. There is no death metal. It's power metal. Maybe some thrash in the new stuff and minimal black metal in the old stuff, but that's it.

The last two tracks of the album are so awesome, Alexi's leads are on fire and he is really learning to use that whammy bar like his idol Steve Vai. This is much more of a technical album, but I dig how he tries to mix metalcore with melodic metal, great stuff if only I hadn't shunned it when I first got it!
