this is so fun to listen to as a -cohesive work-. sort of like janelle monae in its immersive style
but instead of a sort of rapture-from-bioshock-except-nothing-went-wrong (haha i know this is really
specific but i COMPLETELY get that vibe from archandroid) its like an awesomely cheesy island where
everyone chills out and listens to, uh, gorillaz, i guess. and then there are lots of standouts ('on
melancholy hill' is the best). plus, surprisingly, the thing keeps rocking until the very end.
