don't forget to include some bitter comment about today's userbase, that'll add on another .5
or take off a few depending on who it is

I for one add 2 points at least when the new userbase is insulted.

bulldog is cool when he's awkward and insecure, he's not cool when he's awkward and confident.

I like the way this thread is going.
This album would probably be ideal with snow...

Really like this. First half sometimes reminds me of "Big Church" + various avant-synth stuff so I guess liking drone will help you appreciate it better, and then it goes to a more krautrock territory in the second half.

this album is like nuclear war

oh and listening again I forgot it starts with microsound. you need to like a lot of different types of ambient to really like this.
I think it generally goes:
microsound -> minimal industrial -> drone -> avant-synth -> noise -> natural ambient -> classical -> krautrock -> idm -> post-rock? -> pop
all with opera over it to give listeners something organic to hold on to

"What does seem certain is, like many difficult, unclassifiable albums before it, Tomorrow, in a Year is fated to be discussed more than actually heard."
pItchfork review ^
I hate it, this album is all about listening not discussion
listened to this straight through 2day up until the title track

There's actually a lot to discuss, but I feel like people aren't giving this a proper chance to grow on them.

Nothing that I haven't already brought up before with several different people, I was just stating that it's one of those albums that can be discussed.
