Kodama is better than this and with punchier songwriting, but I've lately been feeling that this and Ecailles are their strongest in atmosphere and beautiful moments overall.

Ecailles is cheesier this this for me. This just feels so pure in a way that’s hard to describe. Everything after this, great as it is, tries a bit too hard. The ultimate realization of the Alcest project.
