Deathmask Divine and the title track on that album are both prob in my top 15-25 dm songs ever if I made a ranking. Absolutely perfect.

Yeah those are sick tunes. Having a hard time picking favorites off that album tbh, t/t would def be one of them but they're all so good.
Also off topic sort of but that one riff in in the opener of that album reminds me of the The Chainheart Machine (t/t) when he's like "I'll rise, you'll fall". Now Soilwork is stuck in my head too. I'm so schizo with music lol

I think the T/T of this album was my first ever exposure to DM. I saw the video on youtube what must have been well over a decade ago now. Don't even remember how I stumbled into it.

My second fav of theirs. I remember buying it in 2005 when it first came out when I was only 13 years old. Fuck how the time flies.

Absolutely man. "A Vulgar Picture" is the first TBDM track I ever heard. I got it from some Headbangers Ball compilation CD that had stuff like Lamb of God, Unearth, The Dillinger Escape Plan...etc...on it. I must've been 13 or 14 at that time as well. Jammed the fuck out of those tracks a week before one of the local biker guys took me to my first metal fest to go see Motörhead. Those were good times.

Yep that was the first one I heard too also on a compilation album. Thinking back, that comp had some damn good stuff on it.
|
| |
That comp had lots of the metal stuff on it that was popular around that time. Lamb of God, Unearth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Slipknot, Korn, Fear Factory, Shadows Fall, The Black Dahlia Murder, Deicide, Devildriver, Black Label Society, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir...etc...
I probably still have it lying around here somewhere

Yes the comp I had was like these guys, Behemoth, Lamb of God, Meshuggah, God Forbid, Shadows Fall and some others that I can’t remember right now.

Come to think of it, I still like most things I liked when I was 14 lol. My taste never really changed, it only expanded.
