It's a cool album in general. The drumming is especially neat here (as always). Mcdonough is one of my favorite drummers for sure, the man is just so damn smooth.

I never really got why sputnik has so much love for this band, I could never personally take them very seriously despite their monstrous rythm section

agreed, but the guitarist got much better on this album. chad has been getting progressively worse since LD50 though

Their guitarist was much better suited to just holding things down so Ryan could fly all over the fretboard of his bass and Matt could go nuts on drums. Things were better back then. It was a happier time.

Agreed. Out to Pasture is legitimately enjoyable. Too bad they are on break until 2014, I would like to hear a real return to form.
