Both are great but Wilco was way more experimental. They already had 3 albums under their belt before The National even existed.

These guys and The National are both incredibly talented... personally I'd take The National though. They just have more songs that appeal to me.

Both are amazing agreed, but I'd still put YHF and Summerteeth above even The National's best. That being said, The National has a more consistent discography.
