On a song by song basis, this is maybe my fourth or fifth favorite album of theirs, but listening to every single song in context just makes the whole thing so much better.

Yeah, it couldn't be more fitting. I wonder if this had the artwork of, say, Pablo Honey, if the average rating here would be lower... I bet it would by at least .05

@Muppelope: You could say that everything is in its right place in the context of the whole album.

And yes cover art rules

Haha, yeah you could definitely say that. Oddly enough, most of my overall favorite Radiohead tracks are off HTTT, but it's only my third favorite Radiohead album just because of the awful pacing and general inconsistencies of it.

The band's regrets about HTTT's length are certainly well-founded.

Still glad they made it, just so I can listen to stuff like There There, 2+2=5, A Wolf At The Door, and Where You End. Even if it sounds better out of context.

Oh yeah, I love Hail, I just agree that it is a bit overlong. The tracks you mention are definitely the best, though I would add "I Will".

I'd put Airbag and Everything in its Right Place above it tbh, maybe even 15 Step as well.

Bloom from Live from the Basement or this are my favorite openers of theirs, maybe Airbag too.
