also seems like the narrative has always been justice is their heaviest most angry album... but i feel like that describes this album much better than justice

Master of Puppets (the whole album, not just the title track) but in the Crash Bandicoot soundfont. Honestly goes pretty hard I think.

i think justice seems darker and angrier, but the sonics here are a lot more full/dense/heavy.

This sounds very clean and kind of "smooth" but it works great for the urgency. The squeaky drums combined with the guitar tone make this feel really pleasant to me, even if not particularly evil

"Tony Iommi could sue Hammett for royalties regarding a good part of the lead guitar work of this album."

he could sue the entire metal genre in general and especially doom/sludge, but it's tony fuckin iommi so he doesn't

This was good to me when I was a kid. It's more or less my first metal love.

Maybe it's not optimal optics but I owe it.

The acoustic section in the title track was one of the first things I learned to play. It's pretty easy and feels good.

cant believe I've never left my dribble on this threat before, incredible restraint on my part.
