big l stays overrated...best thing he did was that freestyle with jay-z
his producer lord finesse gets way too little love tho. most definitely the best and most forward thinking new york producer of the 90s besides rza and his rapping was always on some real shit. his album the awakening should be an ny classic

damn gnarly u seem pretty comfortable perched high atop Mt. My Nutsack
but u best climb down and hop off it cuz u got the most predictable internet-bred "hip hop head" taste and opinions.
u can disagree with what I say but at least I formed my taste myself

jay z has plenty of other gems before and after those albums. reasonable doubt, hard knock life, 90s
features, verses with kanye and lupe, oh my god, lost ones, plenty of joints off american gangster,
etc
he started being booboo blueprint iii era when he became an old man trying to be hip
big l was good tho. punchlines were out there and his flow was influential...but I can only fuck with
half this album. and the jay z freestyle is his best product cuz its a masterpiece from a rapping
standpoint

Jay-Z has never been nearly as good as hyped up to be besides on Reasonable Doubt.
This album is slightly over rated but dude you have a Drake avatar, Drake is probably the most overrated rapper to ever grab a mic. He doesn't know what rap is so he gave it up and became an actor (or an actress?) I don't understand it!

Dumbest argument to use when someone disagrees with you. You like Jay Z and Drake? Right on man, so original. Thoroughbred taste indeed goddamn son teach us
