When intended, a concept is the primary aspect of a piece. They are entirely intended here and do the album a different justice than Aaron's wandering observations on his previous efforts. The grip of this album is it's personal reflection, realization and outward reaching. Then again, one's taste could entirely prefer a foreboding atmosphere to a celebratory one, I'm not challenging that.

Sometimes, yeah, but even the greatest concept ever can be ruined if its not pulled off right. And dammit my username is taken from one of the most upbeat groups eveeerr. But whatever - I still heart mwY

You seem to completely understand the genius behind this band, Scyther...what prompted the 3.5 for Brother/Sister?

I already loved the fox, the crow, and the cookie, but I agree the video took it to a whole new level for me.

burnafterbreeding while Brother, Sister is even heavier conceptually than this album, I don't think the band executed as perfectly as they did here. In other words it gets rather boring.

To anyone who's seen this band live, especially recently: I've heard they host pot lucks hours before the shows and meet everyone. Do they still do that this tour?
