I can only listen to the last half of this these days. Although that's a good thing because The God That Failed, My Friend Of Misery and Struggle Within always were the best on here.

I actually still enjoy the singles very much. Sad But True had a great riff methinks, Enter Sandman is just a clssic and The Unforgiven had a great feeling to the song and is quite emotional for metallica. I do agree with your opinion too.

first 2 tracks bore me shitless nowadays. They were amazing 5 years ago, but you always grow out of it.

oh come on, the first two tracks are classics. Yes they are overplayed and have gotten old over the time, but they are still great

I can play several Metallica songs on either guitar or Piano/Keyboards and the Black Album songs are some of my favourites to play. Still haven't found anyone crazy enough to form some sort of band with yet though.

Well since it is such an old and known album overall, then I think that just the abusive overplay of these songs has made it, that people don`t enjoy these songs so much anymore. But I still stick to my opinion that those songs are classics

At one point I had the tab book for this album and could play all the songs, including solos. Not that that's saying much, but learning Metallica stuff was my introduction to playing guitar.
