i didn't say the production on other albums are bad, just saying this one is perfect
|
| |
farmakon has the best production
|
| |
will try it then, other than this album i've only heard aes and ethere so
oh n cool review btw, completely agree with march october dragging things too
|
| |
by best i mean the most conducive to the atmosphere the band is trying to create. if we're talking about clarity, then this has the 'cleaner' production - farmakon has a murky feel to it which i just love
and thanks. i've found out over the last two years that this album suffers with longevity, and march october plays a big part.
|
| |
haha no worries mate its a good review. with the length problem i've found that skipping the first
meandering part of march october improves the listening experience dramatically :P
yeah will give farmakon a trial, thanks for the rec

I prefer this to the rest of their discography. This album just feels the like they really nailed their sound.

im starting to think that this is their worst

You just don't like me spiter.

only one run-through but still prefer this album.
um
im starting to think that this is their worst
not their 'worst', it's just not as good as a couple of their releases, while being on par with everything else
|
| |
still
|
| |
one run-through
|
| |
it's a stupid statement, of course you would prefer something you're familiar with to an album you just played once
|
| |
may be, guess i should have made the inference clearer that i preferred alloy's first run to
farmakon's first run
listening to farmakon again :/ farrrr lol
