If I knew 2008 was going to be the greatest fucking year for metal ever I would have saved money in advance instead of blowing it on cheap shoes and alcohol. 9 months in, I still have this, the new Lacuna Coil, Enslaved, Haggard which I heard some time ago, and several other albums.

I thought the albums that were going to be at the top of my best of 08 list for the first couple of months were PTH, Gates of Winter, In Flames, Children of Bodom, and Dragonforce. The first two were great, third was solid, fourth was disappointing and the last brought nothing new. My top albums have come out of nowhere it seems like lol.

Hadnt listened to this since the beginning of the month, gave it another spin, and liked it even more if at all possible. Keeping this at a 5, and i'd say its one of my 5 favorite albums ever.

I was in Newport the past few days, so i got the chance to listen to a buttload of music, got about 150 songs in 2 days. This was one of the albums i listened to on the car ride back today, and with the exception of the first track, i was into it the whole entire time.

Definitely still a 5 for me too after about 15 listens. Doubt that'll be changing. I don't listen to this as much as I would like cause of it's length, but then again that keeps me from overplaying and starting to feel like it's wearing off me when really I'm just playing it too much and only half listening half the times I do.
