I've been compulsively listening to "clef de voute" by them recently, and that song (and whole album for that matter) is pig squeals like all the way throughout, and it's bothering me way less than it used to haha. guess once you get steeped deeply enough in enjoying something ironically, it eventually becomes unironic

I've been unimpressed with everything this band has done since getting back together, but I further detest the blackened deathcore trend-hopping they're on with the new album.
Band could have called it permanently after Day of Mourning and their legacy in deathcore would have been cemented at that point.

yeah i had something i was working on but did acacia instead and just missed the window. didn't feel too inspired to go back. it's solid but i think it's their weakest not including their debut.
