Sounds like it could be cool, I dig their soft stuff a bit. I love how heavy the Fire ep is though, Firebreather goddayyyum

True story: I saw RX Bandits a month or two ago and prior to Bandits coming on stage, they played the entirety of this record. I was filled with joy

Wack says yes. Start with The Illusion Of Safety or Artist In The Ambulance and then The Alchemy Index

Thrice is the greatest band in the universe. Why would you deny yourself the ecstasy of hearing the greatest aural pleasure known to mankind and possible aliens too if they like music?

Deadbolt isn't a track I would use to convince someone to like Thrice and that song is overrated as fuck, but such is life

That's just like ur opinion man. I still love it, I picked that one because that was the song that got me into Thrice, but it doesn't define their sound overall. They matured tons since

I typically rec For Miles as it shows their style extremely well and it's my second favorite track of theirs. Paper Tigers was actually my first Thrice song ever and I fell in love instantly despite them never being quite that heavy as a whole

I wouldn't pick either haha, Deadbolt only really captures the Illusion sound and For Miles is a grower
Silhouette got me into them, although Paper Tigers was the first I heard

Water>Air>Fire>Earth

For me. If Water and Air were on the same album....fuckin 5 no hesitation.

Best song on: Fire - Burn the Fleet
Water - Digital Sea (One of my fave Thrice songs, hard nostalgia)
Air - The Sky Is Falling
Earth - Come All You Weary

Agreed with Digital Sea, Come All You Weary is my 2nd fave after Child of Dust

Fire>Water>Air>Earth
Fire - The Flame Deluge (Firebreather and Burn the Fleet are both fantastic tho)
Water - Digital Sea
Air - Broken Lungs
Earth - Child of Dust

They should totally make an alchemy index follow up called the avatar. There is an interview with Riley on absolutepunk that has a lot of stuff they've never mentioned in other interviews. Hate podcasts, but was totally worth it.
