the best, the best, the best by radiohead
if i do say so.
the combonation of slurred words, deep meaning, and songs with different styles really makes this album great.
pablo honey was a bit to main stream, in rainbows may be becoming a bit over played,
but ok computer is wonderful

My friend introduced me to radiohead first. The only song I knew from them was creep and karma police, but after listening to his ipod I grew into them and just couldn't get enough of them. Kinda addictive in a lasting manner.

Great review Radiohead's best album. I bought this when it came out in 1997 and haven't heard anything better from Radiohead. Their latest album "In Rainbows" is fairly boring.
Track 2 Paranoid Android is just amazing.

Listened again today...i have 3 problems with the record
1-Fitter Happier being followed by Electioneering sucks...Electioneering is the worst on here and to have it follow the perfection of creepy uncomfortableness that is FH ruins the entire flow for me
2-Exit Music (For A Film) should be the closer, it would be much more effective immho.
3-The album's pretty top-heavy and after Fitter Happier i m left wanting to turn it off (tho climbing up the walls is really good)This Message Edited On 11.06.08

1. Electioneering is the weakest song, but it still rocks
2. No no no fucking way. The Exit Music to Let Down part is probably the best transition on the record
3. I would agree, but Lucky is my second favorite song, climbing being my 3rd.

you have some justification for 2, but it would close the album so so so so well (helps that it's my fave track methinks)

i think it's a lot of people's favorite track. i think i can help you out. i put it in my iPOD twice. once where it is and once at the end! so i get double dose of it. it's a good solution

very good, but i refuse to edit an album from it's original form and even that would be cheating fine sir!

Exit Music wouldn't close the album well. The Tourist is the perfect closer because its more sedated than the emotional climax that is exit music.

So Radiohead are basically way overrated imo.

i would much rather have an album close on an emotional climax than on a sedated ending. It leaves me wanting to listen to the album again

So I heard a different version of Exit Music (For a Film) and like it WAY better than the version on this album. It's much faster paced and has an electronic vibe to it (I think). Does anyone know what version I'm talking about and what it's on?

Must be a Crystal Method remix. They've done quite a bit Radiohead mixes before they released their debut.
