don't you guys think opeth's new album watershed isn't that great. i myself am not a die hard opeth fan who has been listening to each and every album, but i found watershed slightly disappointing.
This is a review for Shrouded Divine, not Watershed. Go onto the forums if you want to talk about Opeth.

would anyone be willing to send me or at least tell me where I can find "the Frail Tide" by Be'lakor. I would post this on the Be'lakor thread, but the guitarist posted there and I would feel bad with him knowing I intend to dl it, but I can't purchase any cd's at the moment and would really like to give them a listen

And I fully agree with Josh ^

torrents are pretty safe, I generally stick with them for more well-known albums, but for less known albums there isn't much choice except for .rar
|
| |
I stay away from torrents. .rar files are so much better. :thumb: :thumb:
This album is out of this world. Amnesia, although short, is up there for #1 song of '08 for me so far.

I think Black Lodge is the best song on this album, Amnesia is really cool though.

The entire album is great, but I really enjoy the double whammy of By Others Considered and Grand Denial. They both have an absolutely smashtaculastic riff.

Don't know if you are a label freak like me but the song is called Grind Denial not Grand...not trying to be an asshole but it's a misprint.

My bad, I only have a downloaded copy of it atm, and it's been mis-labelled. I'll change that now.

It's not mislabeled on the album, and I have to say By Others Considered is my favorite. Even though they're all great.

Yea, i think it's mislabeled on the album as well...it's just the more you know kinda thing...he says grind denial in The Black Lodge so it makes sense. What? If you have the album you'll see that it has GRIND denial written on the back, and in the booklet, and it's labelled that on the CD. It's just whoever first ripped this to the internet mislabelled it because he's likely a retard.

I got a question about the lyrics
"This is my confession, my lament to you
It's me, I've painted the walls
It's a portrait, of a black paradise
From this day on I will look at life with my eyes closed"
I only found two sites that have this band's lyrics and they both have the above for "By Others Considered". Since its a clean passage I can understand it fine but I always hear "it's a portrait of a black parasite" instead of paradise. So which is it?
Same with this
Julia, where are you going
What are you leading me to
The trail to the lodge is irrelevant
I hear "Where are you leading me to". Anyone have link to reliable lyrics
