Was jamming this earlier and realized they totally ripped the riff from Celtic Frost's The Usurper in Triumphant Gleam.

Fenriz has stated numerous times that darkthrone is first and foremost a giant bathory and Celtic frost tribute

The intro-riff from Leave No Cross Unturned is also taken from Evil Eye/Evil Minds by Agent Steel.

Fenriz should probably stop listening to music 24/7. He might not even notice when he rips off a riff.

Yeah, at least Fenriz gets his inspirations from good music.

Well, the riffs are p much unaltered. But yeah, they mention all the bands in the liner notes, so it's cool.

Nice anecdote:

"In a record shop in Zürich around 1998 some music was played through the speakers. In the first reaction, I was sure it's Celtic Frost, only seconds later finding out it's not but the sound was so similar. I was astonished, so I asked about it. It was Darkthrone's Panzerfaust” -Tom G. Warrior
