i feel like at any moment these songs are just gonna break and spill all over the place and make a mess but they never do, they just groan along under their own weight and are occasionally given a bit of rest with tracks like uviol.

VI Scose Poise is a homonym of viscosity. poise is the unit in which viscous materials are notated: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poise
a parhelic circle is a visual phenomenon causes by ice crystals in the atmosphere, so theyce obviously referencing that for parhelic triangle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parhelic_circle

lentic catachresis has for me always been about bpm modulation. the song speeds up and slows down, almost like a breathing organism. my conclusion is that it's a four-dimensional being passing through our three-dimensional plane and bending space-time around itself

I remember seeing somewhere that IV Scose Poise was the sound of a bee trapped inside a jar and its attempt to get out of it by mashing its body against the jar repeatedly and that made song so much creepier thinking how fitting that description
