Falling Snow and Fire Above, Ice Below are two of my favorite Agalloch tracks, but this album as a whole just seems to be lacking in some area I can never quite put my finger on compared to their first two albums. When I listen to the first two albums, it's like I get transported somewhere else, like it's somehow more than just music. I don't feel that same connection with this one.
