i love this but i cant escape the slight banality of it

however it's excellent for that vibe that everyone never fails to mention and "shell of light" and "in mcdonalds" are the BEST. oh and "ghost hardware"

add dog shelter and i agree those are the best.

i actually don't think about the night thing that often(though obviously it works best then). i've always just noticed that the different tracks all cover some sort of simple emotion in their own respect(sexual/romantic frustration on "archangel", genuine love on "shell of light", mistrust on "untrue"(lols get it)). idk it went from being a ridiculously beautifully produced electronic album to something more personal for me. it kind of unfolded

alright i look dum enough moving on

also i love how etched headplate provides a really comforting lull after the first 4 tracks

Well put, Eno. And yeah, I know what you mean. This album just clicked with me one day. It was a sunny afternoon if I remember correctly. Weird.

I have. 4.5'd that so hard. It has a different vibe than this album does, for me, and I love it for that reason.
