Deathmask Divine owns...my only problem is the lack of variation...BDM has mastered what they do here, but there really isn't that much more...i hope they progress somewhat on their next album though they seem like one of those bads that would ruin things by changing up very much.

Awesome album, however.

I think they'll progress with the next album. It seems like they get better and better with every album they put out.

I definitely agree with that because i couldn't really get into their older stuff as much...this just clicked with me...the others had some great tracks but this has each track bringin the murda...I hope Shannon steps up a little more on their next release tho.

Yeah their demos kind of sucked because they were more on the Metalcore side. Then the first album just didnt really interest me that much it seemed like it was really sloppy. Miasma was almost as good as this, but not quite. I also think that Shannon is a good drummer. He's better than the last drummer.

Definitely, he just seemed a little tentative (melt in the sun melt in the sun, who wants to come with me and melt in the sun?) on this release...hopefully he'll gel more on their next outing.

Not for me....at first I only liked half of the songs, then just grew and grew on me. Even now I still love giving this cd a spin.

as do i, from time to time, but with some albums i find i can just leave them in my car and i listen to them and never get tired of them, if i listen to this album more than once in a single sitting it just gets old

To me, this is their best since "Unhallowed", I must say that I didn't really like "Miasma".

This is easily their best. Unhallowed was good, but nowhere near as good as this.

I really enjoyed this album. Unhallowed was amazing and miasma was meh. I think what hurt about Miasma was the expectations coming off of unhallowed.

Just listened to this yesterday, man do I love his vocals in this album. The overall feel of this album is killer, it feels like very creepy like stuck in a vampier lair in the rain.
