Before this album had came out i had fallen for the wave of new metalcore, post hardcore, and pop- punk bands and didn't really care to much for this album.

but when i heard What I've Done i had fallen in love with the song and thought this is exactly what the band needed and the rest of the album delivered

lp forever!

This album was a dissapointment to Linkin Park fans. While some tracks such as What I've Done, Given Up, and No More Sorrow are pretty good, it just isn't Linkin Park. Where's the mixing and sampling? Joe must have been so bored recording this album. One thing is certain, this album CANNOT be classified under Nu Metal under any circumstances.

In Pieces is actually a really good song, the buildup and tension in the song is awesome. Too bad the rest of the album blows for the most part.

although I absolutely despise this album, there is stil somekind of a small hope left imo. Maybe this is a transitional for LP from their nu metal sound to a rock sound and who knows, maybe the next album will be better

no more sorrow is good, what i've done and bleed it out are listenable, the rest is shitty. If "rolling stones" gave this a 4/5 they musn't have listened to it enough carefully.

I'll check out their new album when it comes out for sure. Keeping my hopes low though.

The only song I somewhat kind of barely thought was alright was "The little things give you away", but not because of the vocals at all. This album sucks mad, fiesty dick as it falls under the spell most bands these days do of mainstream bullshit poppy nonsense just to get on the radio and make money from all the dumbass kids that actually think the radio produces good music. I respect trying to give the other musicians in the band more credit by allowing them to actually be heard, but it definitely fails mega hardcore in the originality category.... damn you tasteless radio junkies.
