It’s not like they didn’t pull it off well before, look to Too Bright to See or Driftwood as examples of them doing a similar thing. Hell No Frame wasn’t that dissimilar but done way better

I'm specifically referring to the idea of having the hook be as simple as "I gave up...I gave up" and it being primarily a piano-ballad type track. those are generally divisive here anyway so...whatever
