That new track they released is up there with all their best imo. Crazy considering it been 20 years

New track was awesome. I'm just glad we got it tbh. A new EP or album would be nice though. This might be my favorite release in the style. It's either this or Fixation on a Coworker

It would be this or 0:12 Revolutions in Just Listening for me, coincendentally, both albums were released on Hydra Head.

Need to go back and revisit the Coalesce albums. I had a brief period where I was jamming them when I discovered they were local to me a few years back. Remember digging all of the full lengths though

But yeah Hydra Head was an amazing label especially for this kind of stuff. I knew they had these guys, Keelhaul, Knut, Cave In, etc... But I just checked a few list of releases and had no idea they also put out shit from Soilent Green, Today is the Day, Discordance Axis, Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Gridlink. Gotta be one of the best labels to ever do it tbh

Don't forget Endon, Pharaoh Overlord, Circle, Oxbow and many other seminal acts.

I like to think hydra records are just fanboys of the genre. I also gotta revisit coalesce. I heard the guy from Gaza tecommmebd it and it’s starting to gel with me a little more than it originally did
