I would be surprised if Mark left or was ousted over this. Whether he lied to them or not, him cheating on his spouse is still a personal matter that doesn't concern them, even if said cheating was with a tour partner.

I say that because judging from the Mark’s statement and the yvette screenshots and putting two and two together... it seems like not only did he lie to her about him and his wife being seperated, he lied to the band about it too. Yvette claims her and Mark lived together + Covet toured with Periphery so I highly doubt their relationship was a secret to the band. Seems to me that the band was deceived to the same extent yvette was.



I feel like a lie that goes so far as to cause Mark to leave/be absent from multiple tours... a supporting act to drop out... and all the speculation that had some people thinking Mark is an abuser and the rest of the band might be enablers among other things... absolutely is cause for him to be ousted (if the band so chooses).

@Tundra Mark posted in the Djent Shitposting FB group confirming that he misled Yvette into a relationship. He posted in that group so that members would stop bugging Yvette and him.

@Alex Yeah there are repercussions but again, in the grand scheme of things I don't think it's big enough to lead to him leaving the band. Dude fucked up big time but he didn't do anything illegal. and band guys sleeping around on tour is nothing new. While this is worse than just hooking up with a groupie I don't think the long term repercussions are going to dog the band for very long. Pretty sure most people are just relieved it wasn't a sexual assault and will move on with their lives.

Still glad that Mark wasn't on the tour, I thought it was Matt and they wouldn't have a drummer on their tour, glad they did when I saw them haha. They have three guitaristst so on tour, one less doesn't matter as much.
