“Album always reeked of "we don't have enough songs for an album, let's just pad this thing with pointless interludes and call it a day".



In the documentary Mike claims they turned the album in and the label gave it back and told them they needed more singles, which is iirc where The Catalyst and possibly Waiting for the End came from. Honestly wonder what they cut to put the more radio friendly songs in (I think a full version of Animals may have been excised)
